Can she write her perfect love story?
Austen Archer is on her dream solo bookselling holiday, the new ‘borrower’ at the Borrow-A-Bookshop and Café in Devon’s Clove Lore. Austen has always loved poetry, but lately she has been too afraid to put pen to paper after her boss, best-selling author Callista Flyte, fired her out of the blue a year ago, shattering her confidence.
Deeply wounded, Austen just wants to hide from the risk of being hurt, and finds solace in an online relationship with a bookseller in Paris. She doesn’t notice that Clove Lore’s wedding planner, Patti, is falling for her. When the two visit the magical, romantic wildflower meadow at the Big House, the chemistry between them becomes undeniable, but Austen is not ready to take a chance on love.
Can Clove Lore work its magic and help Austen find the confidence to risk her heart and write again?
